This is the original Canadian blue label (with
silver print), and except for the colour it is identical to the
original silver and grey label. RCA originally used this blue label to designate a country music 45,
but gave that approach up part way through 1956.
There are two label variations for this LP. One has the song "Just Because" credited to "PD" (public domain) whereas the other label version credits "Bob Shelton, Joe Shelton, Sid Robin". A big thanks to Canadian collector Richard McTavish for discovering the non-PD version label. I'm guessing that the "PD" version would officially be the first pressing. The blue label version of EPA-747 "Elvis Presley" also has these two different labels, although there "Robin" is misspelled as "Robins".
Many thanks to Renald Delevo for providing the original "PD" information on this blue label LP.
